I recommended a recent issue of Linux Format (LXF320) to a colleague who has home automation interests. When I found your website, I saw issues by cover page image – fine, I found the issue. But no index per magazine. How hard would it be to produce a table of contents from the actual table of contents?
You have a search feature of sorts but it seems primitive. For instance, your issue 320 had nice home automation articles – it was a front-page illustration – yet a search for “automation” or “home automation” didn’t find that issue; it found others.

I might have touched upon this recently: the PDF archive is a hand-coded legacy database that we’re keeping going with chewing gum and hamsters running on wheels. It’s manually updated, so if there are staff holidays or illness, it’s not always entirely up to date. So, in fact, LXF320 and LXF321 only had their full issue PDFs added when you checked. The fact is that we find it really useful internally, so the full issue contents will get updated in time because, believe it or not, there is no other way of searching past issue contents as easily.
