If you’re into garment making, you may have heard the term 'Hong Kong' finish and wondered what this means. You may also have heard the term 'bound seams', and again wondered if the two terms are the same thing? Technically, they are almost the same thing with one small difference: a Hong Kong seam has a raw edge on the hidden underside, whereas a bound seam has a folded edge.
