It's not hard to admit that I love the vintage patterns. The pattern with this month’s issue includes a pretty bra-type top. With underwear becoming outerwear again I thought I would add some underwear touches to this pattern.
The fabric I chose was a vintage-style printed viscose from my shop Sew Wardrobe. Prior to cutting out the top I fused a lightweight interfacing (Vlieseline H180) to the viscose. I chose a cotton lawn for the lining.
I joined the front and side front pieces together in both the lining and viscose and joined at the CF after inserting the pleat. (See Pic A).
