A reasonable puzzler that doesn’t quite live up to Cyan’s previous efforts.

-Worlds lack spark
Firmament is the latest game from Cyan Worlds, the creators of Myst and Obduction. While this puzzler has plenty to offer, it lacks some of the magic that infused the company’s previous attempts. But what it does not lack is beauty, and it’s full of gorgeous environments, from the icy Curievale to the lush St Andrews. In the gameworld’s series of long-abandoned realms all that remain are steampunk structures guarding the lands. These are made from brass, glass and steam, all emerging from Victorian fantasies of the future. The landscapes rise and fall and are dotted with ladders and lifts, providing breathtaking vistas.
