By the time you read this, Apple will have revealed its brand-new iPhone line-up at its ‘Wonderlust’ event on 12 September. That should be followed shortly after by an upgrade you can get for free: iOS 17.
While it’s not a particularly huge upgrade compared to others in recent times, iOS 17 nonetheless comes with some welcome improvements and new features – one of our favourites being StandBy, which brings cool new display options when placed on a charger, and has a fetching Night mode.
