iPhone 12 radiation update
Apple has announced that it will update the iPhone 12 in France to address concerns that it is emitting excess radiation. The move comes after a French government watchdog ordered that sales of the device be halted in the country – potentially permanently – and claimed that it violated a European Union directive on radiation exposure limits. At first, Apple disputed the claims, stating that the iPhone 12 has been certified by numerous international bodies and is compliant with radiation standards. However, the firm later revealed it would bring out a software update for French users that would address the concerns.
