It’s amazing to think that almost half of all sales of Macs these days are to people who’ve never owned one before, but that’s exactly what Apple revealed during its third quarter results in August. However, it’s also not surprising – there’s a halo effect around products such as the iPhone and AirPods that attracts people to other Apple products too. And with Apple silicon going from strength to strength, the Mac is attracting growing numbers of upgraders too.
