MAPS ON YOUR iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch can help you get from A to Z more easily, but there’s a whole lot more to it than that. Fire up the app on your Mac, and yes, you can work out how to drive, walk, cycle, or take public transport from one place to another. But it’s also super– helpful when planning a trip or exploring a destination’s surroundings.
As you will see, Maps makes it easy to find interesting places, whether you’re searching manually, or using one of many built–in guides written by professionals. The app also lets you see what a location looks like, either from a bird’s–eye view or on the ground, and you can organize places of interest into custom guides.
