Making Jewellery Magazine Issue 125 Back Issue

13 Reviews   •  English   •   Hobbies & Crafts (Arts & Crafts)
This month we’ve pulled together a range of business advice, techniques and traditional jeweller’s skills to make up our first professional issue, for those about to start out in business or already working as jewellers. There’s an A to Z of the popular gemstones as well as detailed projects for making stone settings – and Tansy Wilson goes through the commercial settings available if you don’t want to make your own. Other projects and techniques include Andrew Berry’s unusual Tentacle pendant, Jayne Rimington’s light and comfortable Hollow Form and Sian Hamilton’s Complete Beginner’s Guide to Soldering. We’re also excited to be featuring an article by Julia Rai explaining in depth what you need to consider when taking the step into teaching jewellery skills. And there are some real treats for you new businesses: Anna Campbell’s dos and don’ts of attending craft fairs, interview with online learning guru Alison Lee and knowledge from various jewellers about outsourcing parts of your work. So with all that plus all our regular features, you’ll find plenty to help your business thrive in the first professional issue of Making Jewellery, out now!

Great magazine

I'm really enjoyed this issue. It was so good that I've purchased a subscription to this magazine. Reviewed 09 March 2017

good magazine app

I like this app;but the free issue I got took forever to download. Other than that, just like the newsstand issues. I wish the single issues were a little cheaper.I realize this magazine cost more on newstands because it is an import, but digital??? Love the contents~and the pictures show up wonderfully.
