At last, the OLED revolution has arrived on the PC. Alienware’s second OLED panel is very similar to its first, so it’s still a 3,440 x 1,440 item based on Samsung QD-OLED tech—it just runs at 165Hz instead of 175Hz, and loses the pointless G-Sync chip. If that hardly matters, this ‘F’ model’s glossy coating makes all the difference. It really lets the OLED panel sing. The HDR performance and contrast are ridiculous. The one small worry is the risk of burn in, but you do get a solid three-year warranty.
