Cheap DRAM
This summer might be the ideal time to fill out your memory slots. In the first quarter of the year, the average selling price of DRAM modules dropped by 20 percent, and indications are that by summer it’ll fall at least another ten. This is the result of lower demand. Micron and SK Hynix (the second and third biggest manufacturers) have had to reduce production as unsold stock languishes in the supply chain.
