PUPIL SLICER
The mathcore gang’s ringleader Katie Davies details a second album even more “deranged” than the last
WORDS: MATT MILLS
WHEN PUPIL SLICER released Mirrors in 2021, it was compared to the works of Dillinger, Protest The Hero and Rolo Tomassi. The truth is, the British rabble’s debut exceeded the absurdity of even those mathcore giants, their sound as ambitious as their band name is stomach-turning, and bandleader Katie Davies is vowing the impending follow-up will be even wilder.
Mirrors was received so well, how did you feel about writing its follow-up?
