Diorama-arama (1)
A few years ago, I could not resist purchasing a Heljan WM railbus, but with modelling on hold I couldn’t run or display it. Deciding not to attempt another layout (which in all probability wouldn’t be finished) a compact diorama might suffice. The legendary micro layouts of Chris Nevard were a constant inspiration. The theme for my attempt would be a small halt on a fictitious Great Eastern branch through wildest East Essex, set in 1964, an area of mudflats and tidal creeks associated with children’s author Arthur Ransome.
