Having tooled up a Class 11, it was a logical decision to cover the BR Southern Region Class 12 too. Built at Ashford Works between 1949-52, they were virtually identical to the LMS design, although we have included key differences, especially the larger Bulleid ‘Boxpox’ wheels.
