Crich awaits return of overhauled trams
AFTER winter maintenance, Crich Tramway Village, home to the National Tramway Museum, reopened on March 12.
Newcastle No. 102 is expected to return to service later in the season, once further checks have been completed. Tramway Village Patron HRH Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, drove the tram out of the museum workshop on October 20 last year, marking the completion of its lengthy major overhaul.
