LOCHABER Sea Cadets (TS St Christopher) hosted their bi-annual Royal Navy Parade on Tuesday March 6.
Captain Peter Adams inspected the unit after what has been one of the toughest transitional years in the unit’s recent history, following the untimely passing of the unit’s long-standing commanding officer, Lt Derrick Warner.
Petty officer Martin Hall held the unit through this tough transition and the reins have now been officially handed over to Petty Officer Dell Campbell on a more permanent basis. Given the unit’s troubles, the cadets pulled off a very good night with the senior cadets demonstrating their cooking skills, while the juniors talked about the different types of communication and then demonstrated their first aid skills.
