Argyll and Bute – civil ceremonies

‘It is your day so we do it your way’

That is the motto of Argyll and Bute registrars who are here to help couples make their special day the unique, magical experience they want.

There is a lot more choice and freedom now for couples getting married. Changes in legislation mean they are no longer limited to traditional venues such as registration offices or churches. In the past year, for example, couples have held civil ceremonies held in castles, gardens, yachts, beaches and their own homes. Our registrars focus is on making it possible for couples to have the day they are dreaming of. Getting in touch as early as possible helps to achieve this.
