Following on from the council’s approval of an oil depot at Oban airport, close to homes within a travellers’ site, a number of those residents have spoken to The Oban Times.

It’s hardly surprising that residents at the Ledaig site are upset at the decision. Twenty-four people in total raised objections, including Ardchattan Community Council, councillors Anne Horn, Julie McKenzie and Isobel Strong, and Argyll and Bute MP Brendan O’Hara.
