OBAN Music Group’s inaugural event, Freshers Fest, has been hailed a success with around 250 people attending the first gig.
People packed into Skipinnish Ceilidh House to listen to local bands The Signal Fires, Neon Sheeba, and Citizen 9. The organisers had to change the venue of the event on short notice, which added some last minute stress, however, this didn’t hinder the night.
Doors opened at 7.30pm on Saturday September 16 and closed at 10.30pm. Angela Anderson of OMG said: ‘It went really well. We were really pleased with the numbers.
