‘I really love drams like a savage,’ wrote Scotland’s greatest biographer James Boswell. ‘I said that of all human arts, I valued distilling the most.’ Boswell or ‘Bozzy’, and his subject Dr. Samuel Johnson, a true-born Englishman and author of the first dictionary of the English language, toured the Hebrides in 1773.
