Growing concern over sawmill noise

CORPACH residents say they have suffered enough as noise from the sawmill continues to cause sleepless nights.

There have been growing concerns over noise from the BSW Sawmill for months with people around Drumfada and across the water in Achaphubuil being effected.

At the Kilmallie Community Council meeting on Monday May 22 members of the community, who have been affected by this for the past 12 to 18 months, described the noise as an intermittent ‘clanking’ which can go on until 2am.
