Profile of Senshi Do kick boxing and Wullie Rodger

THE ORIGINS of Senshi Do kick boxing started when Wullie Rodger began his training in Kafdo freestyle karate which was based on Tae Kwon Do. At the age of 14, Wullie went along to keep a school friend company and instantly fell in love with martial arts.

At that time he was training under David Shaw and then James Young after David moved away from Oban. It was then at the age of 19 that he passed his 1st dan black belt under the chief instructor of WUMA Richard (‘Deadly Dicker’) Hopkins in Cheltenham. James Young then had to move from Oban for his job and that’s when, at the age of 20, Wullie took over Oban freestyle karate along with Mark Gowdie.
