Why did you start yoga

My first experience of yoga was on a vacation to Goa in India in 2010; being a dancer, I thought it would be something I would like to try. Walking in the yoga shala in silence, with just the sounds of the birds, the sun shining though the nets, welcomed by stillness…everyone sat on their mats, present and blissful, waiting for the practice to begin. I was hooked from that moment, knowing this was something bigger than I ever could have imagined. It took hold of my heart, and that is where the most wonderful journey of my life began.
