John Kitchen has recently been working on a project to record the organs of Edinburgh, and he explains its origins and how this project progressed; Paul Hale salutes the return of highly ornate cases before David Shuker, in his BIOS column, asks "What have organ builders ever done for us?" – I think you'll find it's more that you previously thought!
