Find shelter from high wind
Extreme wind is the biggest challenge for landscape shooters, but rather than stay at home when it’s forecast to be windy, check the direction it’s coming from. Look on a map and see if there are any interesting locations that may be sheltered from the wind by hills or cliffs.
