David tells us: “I decided to concentrate on photography I can do within walking distance from home, as this forces me to engage with the people and landscapes in my immediate neighbourhood. I love shooting trees throughout the seasons and on this winter’s morning we had a rare snowfall. I awoke with excitement making my way to my favourite tree and set up my camera to capture the stark silhouette standing out against the white snow. But I was not alone, for over the brow of the hill came a flock of eager sheep hoping that I was a source of their feed and this suddenly changed the landscape.”
