STILL LIFE LIGHTING WITH FLASH
A home studio lighting kit is worth the outlay if you want to capture still life photos. Flash gives your images a clarity that is difficult to achieve with ambient light alone. Our simple two-light set-up here lets us light both the flowers and the backdrop. When using two lights, experiment with the output of each to change the ratio of the lighting. It can be helpful to build the lighting one flash at a time, by turning each on individually (after setting your exposure) to see how it affects the lighting as a whole.
