CUSTOMISABLE GOOGLE APP ALLOWS FOR VEGAN RECIPE FILTER

Google’s android app now allows you to customise the searches you make to show only vegetarian or vegan recipes. Despite results from your internet searches already being based on your internet history and already being specific to you, this feature allows you to get instantaneous, relevant search results.

In the top left hand corner of the app choose the ‘customise’ option, then select ‘more preferences’ and scroll down until you reach the cooking option on the menu options. After this, the app will give you the option to choose which recipes according to your preference and diet to show you. The feature is not available on the iOS version of the app.

Google have seen veganism become one of the most-searched terms with vegan food being a top result in Canadian Google searches, with searches for plant based diets following. The executive chairman at Google has claimed that a vegan revolution is coming. This handy tip is an easy to way to make veganism more accessible and easier for those beginning their plant based diet.

VEG.I.AM: BLACK EYED PEAS SINGER TAKES THE PLANT BASED PLUNGE

World famous singer and The Voice judge will.i.am has announced that he has changed to a plant based diet in a bid to improve his health. At the end of 2017 he made the changes to his diet after a visit to the doctor due to a cough that was not getting any better.

It was then that he found out he had high blood pressure and high cholesterol, prompting him to make the change. The singer said: “The cholesterol is down as well but it runs in my family, and diabetes. So I want to get it under control now so I don’t have to worry about it later on.”

The changes that he has made have been positive, and he has lost around a stone (15lb) in weight as well as having lowered blood pressure and cholesterol. He follows a long list of newly plant based singers including Ne-Yo and Jason Derulo.
