It was then that he found out he had high blood pressure and high cholesterol, prompting him to make the change. The singer said: “The cholesterol is down as well but it runs in my family, and diabetes. So I want to get it under control now so I don’t have to worry about it later on.”
The changes that he has made have been positive, and he has lost around a stone (15lb) in weight as well as having lowered blood pressure and cholesterol. He follows a long list of newly plant based singers including Ne-Yo and Jason Derulo.
