BRAVE NEW WORLD
As a 50-year-old gamer who still has all the PlayStation consoles since the very first one I plan to get a PS5 in around 2022 once there is plenty in the shops, I get the cash together, and any issues have been ironed out. It looks amazing, but I hope gamers will put more into games apart from ray tracing. I play GTA V and have enjoyed the game’s advances over the years so now find a soundtrack with real songs and realistic damage to vehicles essential to keeping the game feeling real. I think by adding damage to buildings, more buildings you can enter such as airports and museums, and be able to steal and drive trains, so having a new console may allow developers to bring these features in. I plan to stick with open world games, as these are the only ones I put time into and finish.
