SHOWROOM STARS COUPLES’ VANS
If there’s just the two of you on tour, there’s a wide range of models to choose from. Here are some of our favourite pre-owned bargain buys
The conundrum
So, the events of the past 12 months have made you realise you’re unlikely to have a foreign holiday this year. A quick caravan trip for the two of you seems the perfect solution. The trouble is, you haven’t exactly got a huge amount of savings. Can you still find a good two-berth? Yes, if you look around and are prepared to go back a bit further in time… Here are some great couples’ vans that we’ve previously reviewed, along with an example that’s currently on sale!

Our review said…
Back in 2010 if you bought a model from Swift’s long-serving Challenger range, it only came with a three-burner hob, and just a radio/CD player – no Bluetooth worries here. But you still got a microwave and a 107-litre fridge.
Our reviewer was particularly impressed, too, with the amount of storage space in here, with front access to the two clear underseat areas and six overhead lockers, two of which are shelved.
Storage is also good in the washroom, even if the wood tone makes it feel a bit cramped.
