Windsor, which is a classic example of a historic market town, on the lovely River Thames – with the bonus of that famous castle.
Why are you a local authority on it?
I have lived near Windsor for many years and can often be found strolling its streets and green spaces.
What do you love about it?
Sometimes it’s the bustle of the lively shops, at others it’s a riverside walk. You can follow the river to Eton and its famous college, or amble along the riverside path enjoying the countryside. Alternatively, you could take the weight off your feet with a boat trip.
