ONLY A FEW YEARS ago, ebikes were something of a novelty, but the sector has grown rapidly, mirroring the rise in cycling generally.
That maturity in the market has come about largely because of improved design and performance, with smaller, lighter batteries able to reach longer distances.
Throw in some funky styling and neat features and you can see why demand is hot, hot, hot!
The Knaap (a Dutch brand, pronounced ‘cur nape’) AMS ebike fulfils all of the above, with some extras for show, and combines that sweet trinity of design – function, style, performance – at a price!
The marketing blurb makes much of this ebike’s looks, of which more later, but the real selling points are its powerful battery and load capacity.
