ON FEBRUARY 13th my friend died. Her name was Caitlin Lee and she was a familiar face amongst the American reef-keeping scene. She was just 33 years old. Caitlin and I had a few fish that we would discuss, fish that we would imbue with personality, anthropomorphise and bring to life as though a part of our social circle. For that reason alone, I make no apology for replacing one of my planned features this month with a different feature about one of our favourite fish: the Mandarin.
