Norwegian percussion maestro’s fifth solo album.
Though he’s best known for a range of work in the Norwegian jazz scene that includes collaborations with trumpeter Nils Petter Molvær and guitarists Eivind Arrest and Stian Westerhus, drummer/ composer Erland Dahlen has also released a series of impressive solo albums. His latest finds him at the centre of a complex array of percussive instruments, found objects, rumbling Moog, eerie Mellotron, trap drums and sonorous handbells, the latter very much the signature sound of the record as a whole.
