I must congratulate you on your most enjoyable feature celebrating 80s prog in Prog 146. Asmashing cover, too, and one I’d love to see on a postcard or A4 print.

I was one of those impressionable prog fans who spent their (slightly!) younger years and hard-earned cash hanging out at the Marquee watching the likes of Marillion, Pallas, Pendragon, et al. Dave Everley’s excellent piece took me right back to my youth and I spent a very happy weekend digging out my old ticket stubs and listening to your 80s Prog Rival Primer playlist while reminiscing about the era where I had more hair! Ah, those were the days!

DISCOVERING THE PAST

The 80s prog revival piece [in Prog 146] is superb and has finally encouraged me to investigate more of those bands that were part of the scene. Thoroughly enjoying what I’m hearing by Twelfth Night.
