The Snozzberries dial up the intensity on their second album, pushing the envelope in energy, chaos and breadth compared to their 2020 debut This Is Now. There are freewheeling instrumental freakouts like Darkness, with its frantic guitar riffs and menacing organ wails, and Return builds to a manic midpoint peak, breaking up in a maelstrom of feedback before an sombre piano emerges from the debris to re-establish the melody.
