Long-running EppyFest remains one of the unsung wonders of the festival calendar, with a unique atmosphere that comes from the genuine love that most of its die-hard attendees have for this two-day event. Saturday openers The Crooked Penny are down to a single member in the charming Pearl Legay-Clarke, who involves the audience with some challenging participation beginning with the traditional song Hares On The Mountain. But the audience are willing, singing along when requested throughout a relaxed set comprising mainly traditional songs.
