FINALLY, we’re moving into a new gardening calendar. If there was ever a year to forget about expensive gym memberships and take up outdoor pursuits, this is it! And, if the previous few winters are anything to go by, these early January weeks are the coldest of the year. Don’t let that dampen your enthusiasm - there’s something wild and beautiful about frozen landscapes… Something to light your soul with hope and wonder. We are on the cusp of spring growth - any minute now, it will poke out a few green shoots to lift the spirits.
