PULLING THE THREADS TOGETHER
Loretta Napoleoni (pictured) is an economist and author specialising in global
finance. She is also a lifelong knitter - a part of her that became increasingly important in recent years. She explains: ‘When personal catastrophe struck, I turned to the disciplines of my profession to help me piece my life back together. I soon realised that these fields of knowledge and wisdom were not enough. I needed something stronger, something universal, something that would keep me anchored to the beauty of life. I realised that knitting had been my constant companion.’
