Welcome to our Fall issue of Autostrada,
As our summer draws to a close, we reflect upon the joyous summer holidays and cherished moments spent with family and friends. Despite the season's end, we managed to keep the excitement alive with a series of engaging activities throughout the summer as we thrived with monthly track days, cars and coffee, and exciting magazine launches in collaboration with our esteemed advertising partners.
One of the highlights of this summer was our heartfelt participation in the annual Drive 4 Smiles track day, organized by Starlight Canada on August 19th. Starlight Canada is an organization that strives to bring joy, hope, and positive memories to seriously ill children and their families through their shared passion for cars. We are immensely grateful to the entire automotive community for generously offering their vehicles and support, making the event an astounding success and a means to give back to those in need.
Our latest issue's cover feature came to fruition during a casual lunch meeting with our good friend, Estevan Oriol, in Malibu Beach last October. Estevan shared the fascinating tale of a renowned comedian known as "Fluffy," whose real name is Gabriel Iglesias. Fluffy's captivating collection of cool VW buses caught my attention that triggered a recent video I watched him showcasing his passion on Jay Leno's Garage. Inspired by the encounter the call was made to spotlight Fluffy and his unique collection and so the journey began. A special thanks to Estevan Oriol for capturing Fluffy in his element and immortalizing his remarkable collection of cars and buses.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication and creativity of our exceptional team of writers and photographers. Their relentless commitment to their craft continues to grace our pages with captivating stories and stunning visuals in every issue.
