What is your favourite thing about autumn? For me, it’s the dramatic change that it brings as we move from warm sunshine to the more crisper days, but it’s not cold enough yet that you feel like your toes are freezing and you need all the layers. You can enjoy a pumpkin spiced latte or hot chocolate to warm you up and walk through an endless carpet of golds, reds and browns as the leaves fall from the trees. I also feel as if life slows down a bit in autumn. Holidays have been and gone for my family and me, and it is time to take a bit of a breather before the festive season is upon us. The other fabulous thing about autumn is the Big Bead Show is coming up, and for me, that means time to catch up with friends, admire gorgeous beadwork and of course, purchase lots of beads that I’m convinced I need (not just want). With the show in mind, let us explore what our wonderful designers have brought to this issue that we might need to stock up for at the show.
