As always, we’ll start with our cover piece, and I’m so pleased to announce that the bracelet that is front and centre of this issue is mine, and I hope you all enjoy making it as much as I did. If you loved Judith Robson’s bunnies from the last issue, then check out Marlies Vogal’s ducks for us for this issue. These little cuties will definitely make you smile. Next, we have the delightful Erika Sandor joining us with a beautiful pair of earrings full of sparkle and something a little special. If earrings are something you’re focusing on at the moment, Laura Embry has designed some to pop in your travel jewellery box as they’re so wearable and will go with so many holiday outfits. New to Bead & Jewellery is Karina Miguel, and what a debut she’s making. Her pretty flower-embellished bracelet is such a statement piece and ideal for the summer. Sticking with pretty beaded flowers Kerrie Slade’s daisy sliders are so much fun to make and will add a touch of whimsy to your spring into summer wardrobe.
Moving away from bead weaving and focusing on our other mediums, Jan Dwyer has taken time off from wirework to show us how to pearl knot using her handy little ‘EasyKnot Pearl and Bead Knotting Comb’. Tracey Spurgin is going full glam for this issue with a stunning ring, and last but not least is an intricate and beautiful heart pendant from Alison Tarry.
