There will be overnight restrictions on the A83 at Westport two days after it is scheduled to open at Muasdale.
BEAR Scotland is planning to start £100,000 of essential resurfacing works on more than 350m of rapidly deteriorated carriageway on Sunday October 28 at 7pm. This is two days after the resurfacing works in Muasdale, which also required overnight closures, are due to finish. It is expected the Westport improvements will take place across four nights and be finished by 7am on Thursday November 1.
A 10-mile-per-hour convoy system will be in place for the first two hours of operations while the removal of the existing surface takes place.
