Carpworld Magazine Carpworld February 2014 Edição anterior

16 Comentários   •  English   •   Sport (Fishing & Angling)
Normally the month of February is one of bitter winds, snow and frozen lakes - but this year it's windy, wet and warm! At least many of us can still get out on the banks and get some carping time under our belts! Of course, not everyone is happy - try telling the residents of the Somerset area that it's a good time to go angling - after all, they could do it from their bedroom windows! Anyway, what's in store for you in the February Carpworld? Well, there's a cracker of a feature from Frank Warwick who's wandering mind takes us into areas never normally touched on by angling writers. For instance, how do you fancy having a go at Frank's alternative, upside down Zig rig? Or what about his thoughts on moving baits around? Next, take a trip onto the banks of Monks Pit with Daren Welton or Bundy's Pit with Jim Wilson. How about visiting Spitfire Pool with Rich Wilby or finding out the history behind Catch 22, one of the most prolific fisheries around? If you are a stickler for facts and figures then a new book called Monster Carp, in which every reported carp over 70lb that we know of is featured, could be for you, and Tim Paisley's the man behind it. For the overseas anglers there's holidays to be won at Retreat Lakes, plus a special offer on holidays at the venue for every reader. Finally, check out the mighty Orient with Andy Chambers and, just for exactly the opposite of big-water angling, take at trip to the lovely 'French Redmire' with Nick Burrage. All this and more in the world's largest magazine devoted to carp angling - Carpworld.
