If you thought Issue 1 was diverse, wait till you see what’s happening in Issue 2! A Japanese theme started to naturally emerge as we were putting it together, not just from the JDM cars we’re featuring (the Honda S660, the Toyota Starlet) but also the Mazda running gear in the restomod Morris Minor, the HKS livery on the bagged Chevy C10 truck, the Liberty Walk kit on the Abarth 500… it all naturally flowed into what is a very striking newsstand cover. There’s plenty more to enjoy in this issue too – we take the brand-new old-school Boreham Motorworks Mk1 Escort to the track, Richard Porter chews over the Nissan Hyper Force concept and the death of the GT-R, Trinity Francis looks back at the innovative Genesis Mint concept, and Alex Goy talks us through the magic behind the Morgan Midsummer. We’ve got a Porsche 928 show car on air-ride, a peek behind the curtain at Retropower, and show reports from the Players Classic and the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Plus the usual columns, news and stuff. It’s jam-packed with awesome things.

The arrival of Copacetic is truly exciting for fans of all things automotive – this is a publication of a type that has never existed before: a modified car magazine that spans all genres, ages and demographics.
Copacetic is beautifully designed and intelligently written; content is all-encompassing, with feature cars grouped among three core pillars:
- Profiling: Unique enthusiast creations. Project cars built by dreamers who want to create something bespoke, focusing on style, performance or both, in a way that moves the scene forward.
- Projecting: Manufacturers gone wild. Offbeat in-house creations from OEMs, be they concept cars, low-volume specials, custom commissions, race cars or skunkworks projects.
- Procreating: Premium artisanal reinvention. The choicest high-end restomods from this increasingly growing and popular sector.
The beautiful photography and striking design will draw you in, while the thoughtful, intelligent and friendly writing style will ensure that readers of all ages and demographics will feel welcomed into the Copacetic family.
