Newly crowned World Feeder Fishing Champion Michael Buchwalder is on the June 2024 front cover and inside you can read his account on what was a dream weekend for the MAP sponsored angler. Not only did Michael win individual gold, his Ireland team also won the team event to give him a double gold medal haul. In this feature he recounts the week practising right through to the two match days themselves and it’s a fascinating insight into fishing matches at the very top level, with all the meticulous logistical planning and tactical planning for the fishing that goes into it.
