The Volunteer Arms has had its licensing hours reduced following a review by Highland Council.
A Fort William bar has had its licensing hours and capacity cut following a review by Highland Council. ffe Volunteer Arms has had its late hours closing times reduced to 1am on Thursdays and 2am on Saturdays and Sundays, while the bar’s capacity has also been limited to 120 people.
The High Street bar’s licence was under review at a Highland Council meeting last Friday (March 1), in the interest of ‘preventing crime and disorder, securing public safety and preventing public nuisance’, following concerns from Police Scotland.
