Cumbrian rail heritage remembered with unit naming
BARROW-IN-FURNESS station was the venue for the naming of Northern Class 195 diesel multiple unit, No. 195109, Pride of Cumbria, marking 175 years since the operation of the first services on the Furness Railway. The Mayor of Barrow, Coun Helen Wall, unveiled the name at a ceremony on October 1.
