WITH the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference due to begin in Glasgow soon after this issue goes to press, environmental and pollution issues are very much under scrutiny in the public eye. Railways have a key part to play in helping to reduce pollution, both in moving freight and passenger traffic, and yet there have been some mixed messages this month.
