BALMORAL
A 75th birthday celebration for the veteran Red Funnel motor vessel was held on board the ship at her home berth alongside the M-Shed in Bristol on 30 November 2024. A novel way of opening the proceedings was given by the playing of a tape recording of the actual speech given at the launch of Balmoral at the Thornycroft yard on 27 June 1949.
